Contract Carrier Requirements:
Join our contract carrier pool by filling out our Carrier Contract and W-9 and providing a copy of your certificate of authority and certificate of insurance. You can either download and print off the files below or call us at 866-885-6237 to get set-up today.
Communication from you is paramount. If there is a problem, we expect to be notified immediately. In return, you can expect great communication from us.
Prompt carrier pay is made within 28 days from the receipt of the carrier's paperwork. Smart Lines issues checks each Thursday when all required paperwork has been received:
- an invoice with Smart Lines load number
- the original signed Bills of Lading
- lumper receipts (if applicable)
- a copy of the Smart Lines confirmation sheet (optional)
- any other applicable paperwork
